The Experiment Details page displays information about a particular experiment. For more information about experiments, please see Key Terminology.
At the top there is general information about the experiment.
Click Edit Experiment Details
to change the Experiment name or description. The other fields (Origin, Assay, # Samples, Microns/Pixel, Microscope) are fixed when the experiment is created.
Below this is the Associated Studies. This section shows all studies that data from this experiment has been associated with. You can associate the data to more studies by clicking Select more studies to associate
.
At the bottom of the page are a set of tabs to manage the information associated to the data in this experiment.
The second panel will have tabs called Biomarker Panel
and Label Samples
.
This tab will allow you to associate the regions in your experiment with sample labels. The appearance of this tab will differ depending on whether it is an Enable lab or Imported experiment.
Using the sample labeler for Imported experiments.
Using the sample labeler for Enable lab experiments.
If a biomarker panel has been associated with your experiment, this tab will show a table summarizing the details of the biomarker panel used to stain this experiment. You can download a .csv
file with the contents of this table by clicking Download Biomarker Panel
.
If you have not yet conducted any cell-level analysis (e.g. Cell Segmentation) on data in this experiment, you can edit the biomarker panel by double-clicking the relevant cells in the table. You will not be able to edit the biomarker panel after cell-level analysis has begun.
If metadata has been associated with the data in this experiment, this tab will show a table summarizing the metadata details. You can view this data and filter that view. You can also update the data and download it using the buttons on the right side. Adding Metadata will allow you to filter samples by these traits for analysis on the platform, and unblocks analysis in the Explorer.
